Library Closed Due to Extreme Heat

This just in from Ms. Lois over at the Pomona Public Library:
"Could you help us get the word out that the library is closed today due to excessive heat? Tomorrow and Wednesday we will be open from 8am to noon."

For the safety of the books, let's hope the temperature doesn't hit 451 ;)

    Great comment. Did you know that this is Ray Bradbury Week. A lot of events all over LA all week long.

    I did not know this is Ray Bradbury week! Fun!

    John, we enjoyed our time at the Fox on Sunday. The interview with the director was wonderful; I learned a good deal about my favorite movie (and am motivated to buy the book--or borrow it from the library--once it is reprinted).
